Here are a few steps you can use to make this process fun and easy. 1. Conceptualize an idea: Preparation and Collaboration Collect images and ideas-Pinterest Pinterest is a great place to start. Start a “Mood Board” to collect your visual ideas. If the digital route is not your style, go analog and use magazine clippings, bits of fabric, ribbon, and inspiration from life. Nature, photographs, etc! Anything can be inspiration! Collect your ideas on a corkboard or glue them to a poster board. What is your personal style? Is it edgy, vintage or whimsical?
